Dear Friends and Loyal Patients, I have been very humbled by the trust and confidence you have placed in me, my staff, and office all these years. When I hung my shingle 36 years ago, I could not have imagined the privilege granted me in the development of so many lasting relationships. Your loyalty to the practice is very much appreciated. At this time, I wanted to let you know that I have decided to retire effective March 1, 2022. I will be staying on a few months to help with the transition of the practice and to finish treatments already in progress. My staff of Lisa, Gay, Carol, Annie, Karen, Patty, Marla and Haeleigh will be staying with the practice. I'm very excited to introduce Drs. Kyle and Taylor Shapiro, husband and wife, the dentists who are taking over my practice. I am quite confident that they will fill my shoes and earn your trust. Your future dental needs will be met with a high degree of quality and expertise. In closing, change is a fact of life. I will miss seeing you on a professional and personal level. If you see me on Grants Trail, at an ice rink, on a river, at a golf course, at church or even on a bar stool, please say "hello" and get me caught up on what's new in your live. Dear Future Patients and Friends, It is truly our honor to be following in the footsteps of such an accomplished and respected dentist. Over the past year we have gotten to know Dr Fleischut as a friend and trusted colleague and are excited about this opportunity to carry on his legacy. This is a blessing for our careers and hopefully you will share it with us for years to come. Kyle and Taylor met while attending the UMKC School of dentistry. We have both worked in the surrounding community for the past seven years but are ready to settle down and make our true mark with a lifelong patient base. Our commitment to each of you is to provide the highest quality dentistry and education suited for each individual's needs; to build confidence and trust while fostering lasting relationships. We believe ourselves to be fair, hard working and dedicated to ever-improving our craft, yet promise to always make your experience enjoyable in an easy-going atmosphere. Outside of the dental world we enjoy spending time with our three young children - Charlotte, Sidney and Henry. We enjoy traveling when time allows or going on fun adventures close to home. Growing up in St. Louis County Kyle attended Parkway West and Taylor attended Kirkwood High School. We currently reside in Kirkwood and are thrilled to continue and grow this respected practice in the community that helped shape our lives. We are looking forward to meeting you, providing your dental needs and forming impactful friendships along the way.
